Where to Eat on Grand Cayman
The Westin and surrounding area have plenty of great places to eat but if you're up for a short walk on the beach, we can recommend some of great restaurants we've visited on Seven Mile Beach:
LUCA
One of our very favorite spots on Grand Cayman, LUCA has phenomenal cocktails, satisfying appetizers, and exceptional Italian mains. We'll be here for our Welcome Drinks, but it's still worth stopping back for the tempura sushi, lobster ravioli, or gnocchi chicken ragout.
TILLIE’S RESTAURANT
For the seafood lovers among us, Tillies is an iconic Cayman restaurant situated right on Seven Mile Beach, serving memorable ceviche, surf and turf, and all the beach vibes you've been seeking since you landed.
PARADISE PIZZA & SHAWARMA
Located behind Tillies, Paradise serves a great selection of Neapolitan-style pizzas, shawarma flatbreads and a full bar so you can keep the party going day or night.
COCCOLOBA
Feeling a spicy margarita and some guacamole with a side of ocean breezes? Coccoloba has exceptional Mexican street-style tacos, beachside at the Seafire — just 20 min walk north of the Westin.
Looking to explore the rest of the island?
Here are some other worthwhile places we've enjoyed during our stays here — each a short cab ride away:
CAMANA BAY
Grand Cayman's popular open-air mall has both fine dining options at restaurants like Agua (Peruvian), Pani (Indian) and Mizu (Japanese) as well as small plates and burgers at KARoo and Tomfoodery. Save some space for dessert at the Gelato Company!
SINGH’S ROTI SHOP
Recommended by island connoisseur JJ Kapoor himself, Singh's Roti Shop is home to an array of authentic Trinidadian & West Indian flavors in their curries, stews, and wraps. Grab a Red Stripe and enjoy the island classics at Singh's.
CRACKED CONCH & MACABUCA
A short cab ride north of Seven Mile Beach, you'll find Cracked Conch, which serves up the most elegant vibes on the island paired with outstanding water views. Located right behind the restaurant, Macabuca is the place to go for casual bites while soaking in the oceanfront tiki bar vibes.
